"Sinds een tijd les ik structureel bij Nienke. Het helpt mij enorm dat Nienke bij me komt en uitlegt aan de hand van een simpel metafoor hoe een oefening moet."
Riding starts with insight into your own technique.
Do you really know what your pelvis, torso, legs, and arms are doing during an exercise? Not globally, but precisely — per segment, per movement?
No tricks, no quick fixes, but training your motor skills and technique. That’s where the difference lies.

Less pulling, more teamwork. More feeling, less hassle.
You can train with me in various ways. I have also developed useful tools that you can download to get started on your own.
We can organise coaching in several ways: online via Zoom, through video analysis, or in person — either at my location or as an on-site clinic.
In my RPTC, we work without a horse on your motor skills, balance, coordination and technical skills that you need in the saddle. Of course, a combination can be made of these training courses together with the training courses under the saddle.
I find it incredibly inspiring to share my knowledge. Sometimes in the form of a lecture, sometimes as a workshop, team training or clinic. Always with full focus, practical explanation and a good dose of enthusiasm. The more riders understand what they’re doing — and, more importantly, why — the better the communication becomes. That’s what drives me.
We are currently working on translating the online training programmes into English. Once they are available, they will be published. Once they are available, they will be published. ASAP
As a rider, you communicate through subtle signals — and your body control makes all the difference.
When your aids contradict each other — your seat saying one thing while your legs or hands say something else — it creates noise in the communication. Every horse responds differently: stopping, losing impulsion, shutting down, or becoming strong and pushing through the contact.
But what does this do to you as a rider?
You start bouncing. You lose your timing. You grab the reins. And it feels like you’re completely out of sync. That’s frustrating.
That’s exactly why you should train like an athlete. With focus on technique, coordination, and control over every part of your body.
Not to work harder, but to ride more efficiently — so your aids work together rather than clash, and the horse can follow with ease.
You stumble across posture and seat coaches these days. And honestly? That’s beautiful somewhere, because that means we all understand how important it is.
But my approach? That is just a little different; down-to-earth, energetic and well-founded.
Good training starts with knowledge — of your own body, your horse’s body, and how the two move together. In everything we do, functional riding is central: evidence-based, practical, and always with an eye on the bigger picture. Below, you’ll find the three pillars our approach is built on.
Many riders and trainers blame the horse, while the issue often starts with their own posture and movement.
No control, no balance — frustration, vague issues, and zero progress. No fun for anyone.
If you don’t know what your body is doing, your horse can’t follow either. That’s where tension, resistance, and those ‘meh’ rides come from.
There are several ways we can work on your posture and seat, so you start to feel for yourself what it does to your horse — and how to use that insight effectively.
That can be done through clinics, one-to-one programs, online modules, or anything in between. Not sure what would work best for you?
Just send me a message, and I’ll think along with you.
And these aren’t just a few random videos or exercises — these are training sessions where you’ll genuinely notice a difference.
We dive into the theory, you get practical assignments, and audio training you can use directly in the saddle.
There are two programmes that logically build on each other — whether you ride recreationally or train at top level: you’ll gain better understanding, better feel, and ultimately ride better.
